eHealth, Inc. (EHTH) which owns eHealth.com, a leading private online health insurance exchange, today announced that it intends to offer and sell, subject to market and other conditions, 2,000,000 shares of its common stock in an underwritten public offering pursuant to eHealth’s existing shelf registration statement. In connection with this offering, eHealth expects to grant the underwriters a 30-day option to purchase up to 300,000 additional shares of common stock. RBC Capital Markets, Credit Suisse and Evercore ISI are acting as joint book-running managers for the offering.
